Last saturday, 12-03-11, Tammie and I went to Minneapolis, MN to the Mall of America. It was a very funny trip with many new christmassongs like "Grandma got run over by a reindeer". I really enjoyed doing this just with her and without all the little kids. :) After about 4 hours driving in the car, we arrived at the Mall. (I drove like an hour or something). It was huuuge! We were in the Mall for only 2 hours, cause then it was too much for us (toooo many people there). In the Mall were an amusement park, Sea life and lots of stores. When we left it, it snowed! It was nice to see the snow, but bad for driving. After that we went to an Outlet Mall, where I bought my basketball shoes and some other stuff. It was already evening and we thought about staying in Minneapolis one night or going home. We decided to drive home and I told her I could drive the last 1-2 hours, cause it did not snow in our area but then I fell asleep and so she drove all the way back home. :P I had an awesome and long day!
On Monday, 11-21-11, we had our first basketball practice. It was hard and I was very tired at the end of that day. I have never played basketball like this and after a week I thought about quitting it, but friends told me to stay, and so I did. I bought my shoes and practice is not that hard anymore. It is fun and we already had 2 games. The first one I just watched and cheered. We won it! And the second one I played for a little bit and we won by 24-23. :) It was very close but we made it!
On Thursday, 12-22-11, we have our winterformal dance and I'm very excited! Got my dress, a date and now I only need to decide which shoes. This will be my first formal dance :S And this day is also the last day for the 1st semester and before the christmasbreak. :)
Letzten Samstag, 3.12.11, sind Tammie und ich nach Minneapolis in MN zur Mall of America gefahren. Es war eine lustige Fahrt mit vielen für mich neuen Weihnachtsliedern, wie "Grandma got run over by a reindeer". Ich hab es echt genossen nur mit ihr diese Tour zu machen und ohne die kleinen Kids. Nach ca 4 Stunden sind wir dann endlich angekommen. (Ich bin etwa eine Stunde gefahren). Es war riiesig! Es gab einen vergnügungspark, Sea life und viiele Geschäfte. Wir blieben in der Mall für 2 Stunden, weil es zu viel war. (zu viele leute und gewusel) Draußen hatte es angefangen zu schneien. Wir fuhren noch zu einer Outlet Mall, wo ich dann meine Basketballschuhe und andre Kleinigkeiten gekauft habe. Ich hatte einen schönen aber auch langen Tag! :)
Am Montag, 21.11.11, hatten wir unser erstes Basketball training. Es war hart und ich war seehr erschöpft am Ende des Tages. I hatte noch nie zuvor Basketball like this gespielt und deshalb hab ich über abbruch nachgedacht aber freunde haben mich gebeten drinnen zu bleiben und das tat ich auch. Mit meinen richtigen Schuhen geht es besser und Training ist jetzt auch nicht mehr so schwer. Es macht Spaß und wir hatten schon 2 Spiele. Im ersten hab ich noch nicht gespielt, aber wir haben gewonnen und im zweiten hab ich ein bisschen gespielt und wir haben wieder gewonnen (23-24). :)
Am Donnerstag, 22.12.11, haben wir unseren Winterformal dance und ich bin schon sehr aufgeregt! Hab mein Kleid, ein Date und muss jetzt nur noch die richtigen Schuhe finden. Das wird mein erster formal dance :S Der 22. ist auch der letzte Tag des ersten Semesters und bevor den Weihnachtsferien. :)
